Welcome to RNA Summit 2022

RNA technology has attracted the attentions from biomedicine industries and investors since it won the Nobel prize in 2006 for RNAi interference technology. Now it has gradually entered clinical practice, the outbreak of COVID-19 has promoted the development of RNA vaccine. In recent years, the types of RNA drugs approved by FDA are mainly antisense RNA (ASO) and small interfering RNA (siRNA) drugs, which are widely used. They can target rare diseases, tumors, infectious diseases and metabolic diseases, and meet the needs of no treatment in some fields. Many RNA drug R & D companies have been established all over the world.
The development of RNA drugs is becoming more and more mature. RNA modification technology increases the stability of RNA and makes drugs more efficient and safer. But it still faces difficulties such as delivery, miss target and toxicity; Although the delivery system represented by nano-sized non-viral particles has developed well, the problems such as low efficiency and lack of targeting mechanism still need to be solved.
Through Reviewing the progress and achievements of RNA drugs, this forum will build a communication platform for scientific researchers and peers to deepen academic exchanges and industrialization discussion and promote the research and development of RNA drugs and vaccines.
